YOUR ITINERARY IN PICTURES
TRANSFER AIRPORT TO HOTEL
On arrival in Montego Bay, after disembarking your aircraft, you will be meeting and greeting your driver, birding guide and other trip participants. From here, we will depart Montego Bay for our first two nights in southern Jamaica. Depending on your arrival time in Montego Bay, some birding can be done between the airport and our hotel. There are so much to see along the way such as raptures and swifts.
UPPER BLACK RIVER MORASS
Day two will see us getting up at about 6:00 am, and do a little birding along the shores or pond before breakfast. After breakfast, we will be going to the Upper Black River Morass our packed lunch. Here we will be dirding for about five hours before returning to other ponds in the Lower Black River Morass, where mid to late afternoon birding is great.
SOUTHERN JAMAICA'S FORESTS
Today consist of a visit to the southern dry-forests of Jamaica before going into the Blue Mountains. Learn more about the target birds, areas to be visited and other amenities of the day by requesting a DETAILED ITINERARY.
CENTRAL BLUE MOUNTAINS
Today, we will bird the grounds of our lodge before breakfast. After breakfast we will visit the habitats of the central, upper and southern Blue Mountains, have lunch, before enjoying some afternoon birding in the habitats of the northern Blue Mountains. Your DETAILED ITINERARY will say more.
NORTHERN BLUE MOUNTAINS
Today, we will go out early, looking for the Crested Quail-dove, Jamaican Black-bird and other rare species, before returning the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, we will depart for northeastern Jamaica, birding on rout. See more information in your DETAILED ITINERARY.
WHILE RAFTING DOWN RIVER
Today, we will have a leisurely breakfast before departing our place of accommodation at 9:30am, for our birding while rafting trip down the Rio Grande. Get marvelous views of numerous water species. Have a freshwater swim, before going back to our place of accommodation.
LOWER JOHN CROW MOUNTAINS
Today, we will have an early departure from our lodge, taking a packed breakfast, to the Lower John Crow Mountains in search of the endemics we did not view properly, or see on previous occasions. We will look for birds here ntil about mid-day. Get more information in your DETAILED ITINERARY.
UPPER JOHN CROW MOUNTAINS
Today, we will visit a nearby forest in the Lower John Crow Mountains or the grounds of our lodge, before breakfast. After break fast, we will depart northeastern Jamaica for Runaway Bay, where we will have two overnights. Your DETAILED ITINERARY will inform you further.
NORTHERN COCKPIT COUNTRY
Today marks our final day of birding. We will leave our lodge at about 6:00am for the habitats of the northern Cockpit Country. After a marvelous six hours of birding, we will return to our hotel for lunch. After lunch, we will return to our hotel for relaxation by the pool or visit the beach before start putting our things together, for our journey home. See your DETAILED ITINERARY.
NORTHERN COCKPIT COUNTRY
While driving through the communities of the nothern Cockpit Country, we will be able to see a few birds like Black Swifts, Logger-head King-birds, Grackles, and Egrets, although people are living in some of these areas. Please request a DETAILED ITINERARY.
HOTEL TO AIRPORT
Our leaving the hotel will depend on the flight departure time or times out of Jamaica. Based on these, we will depart our hotel in Runaway Bay for the Donald Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay. Please request a DETAILED ITINERARY.

ACCOMMODATION AND MEALS
FIRST AND SECOND NIGHTS
Our first and second night's accommodation will be in a decent small property accommodation, located on Jamaica's south coast. This property is located on a beach, where numerous shore bird species are present, mainly early to mid mornings, and mid to late afternoon. There are also nearby ponds for us to explore.
JAMAICA'S SOUTH COAST
Enjoy the breeze as it puffs its way through the louver-blades of your windows. Yes, you can sleep with your doors open here. Having the beach at your toes, you wet them any time you want. Come and see for yourself.
JAMAICA'S SOUTH COAST
Experience and enjoy meals of Jamaican cuisine in a home-style setting. This is where birders want to be not just for twitching on a birding tour; but leisurly watching birds on a relaxing birding holiday or birding vacation.
NORTHERN BLUE MOUNTAINS
If our south coast accommodation was short of anything, we can catch up with it here, where you can have luxury in the northern Blue Mountains, while watching birds.
