JAMAICA'S TOURISM CAPITAL

Montego Bay, Jamaica's second city, is known as the tourist capital of Jamaica.  Known for its luxurious hotels and the busiest airport on the island, most of Jamaica's earnings from tourism is generated through the city of Montego Bay.  This fast pace touristic city which is the capital of the Parish of St. James and the second largest city in Jamaica, by measurement and by population, (after Kingston, Spanish Town and Portmore).  Wearing the name-brand as Jamaica's Tourist Capitol, it is a tourist destination packed with duty free shopping, an International Airport, a cruise line terminal and various beaches.

Other U.S. cities such as Charlotte, Houston, Atlanta, and Tampa can be reached by nonstop flights in less than three hours. Other locations like Philadelphia, New York City, Boston, Washington D.C., and Chicago can be reached in under four hours.  Major European cities such as London, Frankfurt, Berlin, Milan Amsterdam averages ten hours.
